Commercial Vehicle Training Association (CVTA)

Commercial Vehicle Training Association (CVTA) is the largest professional association representing commercial truck driver training programs in the US. CVTA advocates for policies that enhance safety, reduce barriers for those seeking entry into the transportation industry and further advance overall driver professionalism.

CDL school members enjoy access to industry vendors, products and services that support the trucking industry, best industry practices and updates on regulations.

Founded in 1996, CVTA provides its members with programs and services that improve training programs, staff, and operations, while helping them navigate a complex regulatory framework.

The CVTA members represent 100 training providers with 400 training locations in 46 states. CVTA member schools train over 100,000 drivers annually.
